Our story

From a small kitchen in Bandung.

Ibu started with a hand-cranked roaster, two friends, and the conviction that great coffee shouldn't sit on a warehouse shelf for six months. We work directly with farmers across Indonesia, East Africa, and Latin America — and ship within 48 hours of roasting.

No mystery blends. No rancid beans. Just honest coffee, packed with a handwritten note about where it came from.

Can I pause or cancel?

Anytime, from your account. No phone trees, no guilt trips.

Whole bean or ground?

Your choice per bag. We grind to order — espresso, drip, French press, AeroPress, or Moka pot.

When do you ship?

Roasting on Monday, shipping on Wednesday. Most US orders arrive within 3 business days.

What if I don't like a coffee?

Tell us. We'll send a replacement bag from a different origin — on the house.

Your first bag ships within a week.
